Definitions & Key Terms

To help explain things as clearly as possible in this return & Refund Policy, every time any of these terms are referenced, they are strictly defined as:

  • Company: When this policy mentions “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our” it refers to Lacey’s Plumbing & Heating, 118 Millennium Trade Park Ballycoolin, Co. Dublin that is responsible for your information under this Return & Refund Policy

  • Customer: Refers to a company, organization, or individual that purchases products from us in any capacity

  • Service: refers to any service provided by Lacey’s Plumbing & Heating to a customer, including supply of products & delivery.

  • You: A person or entity that is a customer of Lacey’s Plumbing & Heating| Bathroom & Tile Showroom

 

 

Returns & Refunds Policy

Thanks for shopping at Lacey’s Plumbing & Heating | Bathroom & Tile showroom. We appreciate your continued support of our business and want to make sure you have a rewarding experience while you are exploring, evaluating, and purchasing our products.

As with any shopping experience, there are terms and conditions that apply to transactions that occur with our company. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set forth below in our returns & refund policy, along with in our privacy policy.

If there is something wrong with the product you bought, or if you are not happy with it, you have 30 days to return & refund your item. This applies to products which don’t offer a warranty with purchase.

If you would like to return a product, we accept returns if the following conditions are met.

  • The product is damage free. If the product is found to be damaged upon return to us, and no longer in a resaleable condition, we will not process your refund.

  • The original purchase receipt is provided. If you cannot supply the original purchase receipt for the product you wish to return, then we cannot process the return.

  • The product is returned to us unopened and in its original packaging. For your return to be processed, products must be returned in their original packaging

 

 

We at Lacey’s Plumbing & Heating | Tile & Bathroom Showroom commit ourselves to serving our customers with the best products. Every product that you choose has been thoroughly inspected, checked for defects, and packaged with the utmost care.

For returns if the product has not been opened or installed, we may reduce your refund of the price (excluding delivery costs) to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods, if this has been caused by your handling them in a way which would not be permitted in a shop. If we refund you the price paid before we are able to inspect the goods and later discover you have handled them in an unacceptable way, you must pay us an appropriate amount.

We carry out thorough quality control checks before processing your ordered item. We take the utmost care while packaging your order to ensure items won’t get damaged during transit. Please note that Lacey’s Plumbing & Heating |Bathroom & Tile Showroom is not liable for damages that are caused to items during transit or transportation. If your item was damaged during transport, please contact a member of our team.

 

Returns and Refunds on Triton products

If you would like to return a Triton product, we accept returns of these products if the following conditions are met.

  • The product/ packaging is damage free. If the product/packaging is found to be damaged upon return to us, and no longer in a resaleable condition, we will not process your refund.

  • The original purchase receipt is provided. If you cannot supply the original purchase receipt for the product you wish to return, then we cannot process the return.

  • The product is returned to us unopened and in its original packaging. For your return to be processed, products must be returned in their original packaging

You do not have a right to change your mind in respect of:

(A) products sealed for static electricity protection (sensitive electronic components), once these have been unsealed after you receive them;

(B) any products which have been permanently installed.

We cannot accept returns on Triton products once the safety seal on the product has been compromised, i.e. the product has been opened. Exceptions to this include if the product is found to be faulty once installed. Repair or replacement parts in the event of a faulty product would be covered by the manufacturers guarantee, provided the guarantee has not reached its expiry date.

For returns if the product has not been opened or installed, we may reduce your refund of the price (excluding delivery costs) to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods, if this has been caused by your handling them in a way which would not be permitted in a shop. If we refund you the price paid before we are able to inspect the goods and later discover you have handled them in an unacceptable way, you must pay us an appropriate amount.

This does not affect your statutory rights. ​

Tile Returns

We are happy to offer returns on full boxes of unused tile as long as the product meets the conditions listed below. Tiles can ONLY be returned to our Naas branch. Tiles cannot be returned at our Ballycoolin branch Or Harold's Cross Branch 

  • The tiles are retuned unopened with the original packaging intact.

  • The batch code of the tile matches the current batch code that we have in stock (batch codes that do not match our current stock cannot be restocked as minute differences in shade and tone can occur across batches as a result of the production process).  

 

Return Delivery Cost

Lacey’s Plumbing & Heating | Bathroom & Tile Showroom is not responsible for return shipping costs. If you wish to return an item, please contact a member of our team to discuss our return shipping policy. Returns must be sent back to us via tracked post and the tracking number must be supplied to us.

 

Lacey's will cover the cost of the return if we have sent out an item in error . If this is the case, the maximum refund for delivery costs will be the costs of delivery by the least expensive delivery method we offer. For example, if we offer delivery of a product within 3-5 days at one cost but you choose to have the product delivered within 24 hours at a higher cost, then we will only refund what you would have paid for the cheaper delivery option.

Product Availability and Limitations

At Lacey’s Plumbing & Heating | Bathroom & Tile Showroom we are committed to fulfilling every order we receive. Sadly, there are times when we may not have the products that you ordered in stock or may face some issue with our inventory and quality control. In such cases, we will offer you a choice between similar alternative product or a full refund. If this occurs, you will be notified about the change in order status in advance of delivery.

If you have purchased via online payment, then you will be fully refunded in full once our team confirms cancelation of your order.

By using our platform, registering an account, or making a purchase, you hereby consent to our return & Refund Policy and agree to its terms

Changes to Our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Should we update, amend, or make any changes to our Return & Refund Policy so that it accurately reflects our services and policies, these updates, amendments, or changes will be posted here. If you continue to use our service, you are bound by our updated Returns & Refunds Policy.
