At Lacey’s Plumbing Heating Bathroom & Tile Supplies, we aim to make delivery of your online order as straightforward as possible.

This policy applies to orders placed through our online store and should be read together with our Returns & Refunds Policy and Terms & Conditions.

DELIVERY AREAS

We deliver online orders throughout the Republic of Ireland using third-party parcel and pallet courier services.

Delivery availability and charges may vary depending on the delivery location and the size, weight and type of products ordered.

For deliveries outside the Republic of Ireland, including Northern Ireland, please contact Lacey’s before placing your order to confirm whether delivery can be arranged and to obtain a delivery quotation.

DELIVERY TIMES

Estimated delivery times will be provided when your order is processed and may vary depending on product availability, order size, supplier availability and delivery location.

Where a specific delivery timeframe has not been agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within the timeframe required under Irish consumer law.

If we become aware of a significant delay or that an item is unavailable, we will contact you using the details provided with your order.

Where we cannot deliver within an agreed or legally required timeframe, your statutory rights will apply.

  • ckage delivery• A parcel/pa

  • A multi-parcel delivery

  • A pallet delivery

Orders containing several products may occasionally arrive in more than one delivery.

If goods are lost or damaged while being delivered by a courier arranged by Lacey’s, please contact us and we will investigate the matter with our delivery partner.

PALLET & LARGE ITEM DELIVERIES

Large, heavy or bulky orders may be delivered on a pallet.

Pallet deliveries are kerbside/front-garden deliveries only, where safe and reasonably accessible.

Drivers are not responsible for carrying goods into a house, building, garage, job site or upstairs.

Customers should arrange suitable assistance to move large or heavy products from the delivery point after delivery has been completed.

Bathroom products, tiles, shower trays, baths, furniture and other products can be extremely heavy. Please ensure suitable assistance is available before delivery.

  • Restricted vehicle access

  • Apartment developments

  • Building or site restrictions

  • Any other restriction that could prevent safe access by the delivery vehicle

The courier/driver will determine whether delivery can be safely completed at the location.

If delivery cannot be completed due to access restrictions that were not disclosed to us, an additional reasonable delivery or redelivery charge may apply where appropriate.

Customers should check the number of parcels, boxes or pallets received where reasonably possible.

If packaging appears visibly damaged on arrival, please make the driver aware where possible and take photographs of the packaging and goods.

Please retain all packaging until you have inspected the products.

DAMAGED, MISSING OR INCORRECT GOODS

Please inspect goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and before installation or use.

We ask that any visible damage, shortages, incorrect items or faults apparent on delivery are reported within 48 hours of receipt so that we can investigate promptly with our courier or supplier.

Do not install or use a product that is visibly damaged, incorrect or appears faulty.

The 48-hour reporting request assists us in investigating courier and supplier issues promptly. It does not limit, exclude or affect your statutory consumer rights.

If a fault or issue becomes apparent after this period, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

DELIVERY CHARGES

Applicable delivery charges will be displayed or advised during the ordering process.

Delivery charges may vary depending on the size, weight, quantity and destination of the order and whether parcel or pallet transport is required.

FAILED OR REARRANGED DELIVERIES

Please ensure that the delivery address, Eircode and contact telephone number supplied with your order are accurate.

Where a delivery cannot be completed because nobody is available where attendance is required, access cannot safely be obtained, or incorrect/incomplete delivery information has been supplied, the courier may need to rearrange delivery or return the goods to the depot.

Where Lacey’s incurs an additional reasonable delivery or redelivery charge as a result of circumstances within the customer’s control, that additional cost may be charged to the customer where appropriate.

This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights where the failed delivery is attributable to Lacey’s or our appointed delivery provider.

LOST OR UNDELIVERED ORDERS

If an order being delivered by a courier arranged by Lacey’s is lost or does not arrive, please contact us.

Lacey’s will investigate the delivery with the courier and will deal with the order in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

DELIVERY DELAYS

Occasionally deliveries may be affected by circumstances outside our immediate control.

If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will endeavour to contact you.

The use of a third-party courier does not remove or reduce Lacey’s obligations to consumers under Irish law.

CLICK & COLLECT

Customers selecting Click & Collect should allow up to 48 hours for their order to be prepared and confirmed as ready for collection.

Please do not travel to collect your order until you have received confirmation from Lacey’s that it is ready.

Preparation times may vary depending on product availability and the items ordered.

Please have your order confirmation or web order number available when collecting.

CHECK BEFORE INSTALLATION

All products should be carefully checked before installation.

Please ensure that the correct product, size, colour, finish, quantity and specification have been supplied.

If an item is visibly damaged, incorrect, incomplete or appears faulty, please do not install it and contact Lacey’s.

Installation of a product does not remove any statutory rights you may have in relation to a fault or non-conformity that could not reasonably have been identified before installation.

YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS

Nothing in this Delivery Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or reduce your statutory consumer rights under Irish law.

Where there is any conflict between this policy and mandatory statutory consumer rights, your statutory rights will apply.
